2.User Guidance

This data element is used to enter the patient's date of birth as the exact date (e.g. day, month, year). If the exact date of birth is not known, the approximate age can be entered in D.2.2. Alternatively, the patient's age can be indicated in "Patient Age Group (as per reporter)" (D.2.3).
