This data element is used to enter the action(s) taken with the drug as a result of the adverse reaction/event. The value "1 (Drug withdrawn)" together with the outcome of the adverse reaction/event at the last observation in E.i.7 provides information about the course after drug withdrawal. "Not applicable" may be used when the patient died, or when drug administration was completed before the adverse reaction occurred, or when the characterisation of drug role in G.k.1 is defined as not administered. When "not applicable" is entered, details should be provided in section H.
